This pumpkin molded (I don't think I used that word correctly.) and collapsed well before Halloween.

Lost puppy at our neighborhood party
Julia was very excited about the candy.
And her tail wagged when she walked! RJ is already at the door and not interested in waiting for his sister who took way too long to walk from house to house and pick out which candy she wanted.
It's all fun until you fall on your face. Then you just have to go home and go through your loot.

Funday Friday
We started our morning with a visit to the dentist. RJ and Julia were both very excited about their helium balloons.
RJ told me he had a demo and had to go to work, so he packed up his backpack (including water bottle and cell phone)and took off on his bike to "work" (the front step).
Julia loves, loves, loves playing in the flower pots and removing dirt.
The kids are "digging" the winterized garden. ;)
We ended our day with a pizza picnic pajama party!

Park
The weather has been really warm, so we are trying to take full advantage of outdoor playtime.

Saying goodbye to Dad as he tries to leave for work
Julia figured out that a noodle fits nicely right in the top of her sippy cup and she thought it was hilarious!
Best play area ever...the box of the pickup! Neither of them can get in or out by themselves, which makes it great for everyone! I was trying to capture the sunset.
RJ's new hairdo (just kidding!)

Happy 7th Anniversary!
It took us a week to get our wedding gear on for our annual picture and getting the kids to sit still is impossible.

Fall
Fall has arrived and I am officially cold and will be for the next 8 months.
Fall planting fun...moving cherry trees to make room for...
an apple tree!
Everyone was so "helpful."
RJ was pretty excited to carve a pumpkin. You can see my injury at the bottom of the picture. This is the second time I've done something like this while trying to cut pumpkins.
RJ was not a fan of touching the insides.
He came up with the great idea to wear gloves.

Pumpkin Fun with Auntie Donna
Auntie Donna really wanted a pumpkin for her apartment, so RJ was more than happy to assist with this mission.
First, they each drew a sketch of what they wanted to draw on the pumpkin.
Then, they took turns drawing a face on the pumpkin.
Last, RJ helped color in the face.
Auntie Donna's side
RJ's side (a little creepy!)
And, he signed his name. First, upside down and then the correct way with some encouragement from Mom.
