Snow!?

RJ's first real snow, although I'm not sure if most would consider this a real snow. Everything closed, but it really wasn't necessary in our area. It did snow, but also rained and not much accumulated.

It was a nice day, so we took a family walk to Clemyjontri.

Grandpa and Grandma Visit

Grandpa and Grandma came to visit for RJ's first birthday. We went on some new adventures.

We went to the Air and Space Museum in Dulles and saw the Discovery, which was very cool.

We missed the opportunity for RJ to wear his astronaut costume, but he did have on his airplane shoes!

We also went to the museum of Crime and Punishment. Here Grandpa is trying to shoot birds.

RJ's 1st Birthday

We had a couple days of beautiful weather, so we took full advantage by playing outside and pushing puppy up and down the driveway. I couldn't resist getting a footprints picture.

11 Months Old

I'm 11 months old! I can walk very quickly and my parents have a hard time keeping up with me. I love climbing the stairs and then turning around and laughing when I'm half way up so my parents chase me. When I'm playing, I try to put things in, carry a toy around with me, push cars around the room and dance to music. I'm starting to only nap in the afternoon, but sometimes I take naps in the car. I ate everything in sight for two weeks and now I refuse to eat anything. My front teeth are starting to come in. I was playing with Mom's water bottle and fell on it and cut open my gums. I freaked out over the blood, but now you can see my teeth coming in through my cut gums.

January 2013

Farmer RJ...Your barn door's open and the sheep got out. This was the last time this sheep was seen for a week. We searched the house many times and couldn't find it. Then one night I had a dream that we found it and the next day woke up and told Doug we were going to find the sheep because I dreamed that we did. Doug found it in his shoe later that day.
