Instead of paying $60 on child-care, Dad took the day off and spent $25 on golfing. We practiced driving at the range and then did some putting on the mini-golf course. After the warm up we went to Sherwood Forest so RJ could try playing on a 'real' golf course.
RJ tees off at hole 6. Club choice was always a bit of a mystery. Sometimes RJ used a 5 iron from the tee and a driver from the fairway.
RJ got better as he went along. He got a couple 5's and 6's towards the end.
Putting on hole 9. No, he is not in a sand trap ... the 'greens' at Sherwood are actually sand. And this early in the year, the sand wasn't very well groomed, so there were lots of 3 putts.
