Leaves!!!

RJ's teacher was quite amused with a recent interaction with RJ that went something like this...
Teacher: RJ, when Dad rakes all the leaves into a pile, what do you do?
RJ: Put them in the woodchipper!!!

This is what he does when MOM rakes the leaves...

This was right before RJ was about to dump that bucket of leaves on me. I told him to "leaf" me alone.

Exercise

RJ was teaching Doug some new exercises one day. Doug was able to do all of them except this one. Then I was called into the room to try it. We still can't figure out how he does this, but it is quite amusing.

Pumpkin Pie

It was a rainy day and we had no plans, so RJ decided we should make a pumpkin pie with the pumpkin he got from preschool.

RJ requested to dig out the seeds with an ice cream scooper so his hands wouldn't get dirty.

Not bad considering this is the first pumpkin pie I have ever made and I made it from scratch with the "help" of a 3 and 1 year old.

Happy Halloween

This pumpkin molded (I don't think I used that word correctly.) and collapsed well before Halloween.

And her tail wagged when she walked! RJ is already at the door and not interested in waiting for his sister who took way too long to walk from house to house and pick out which candy she wanted.

It's all fun until you fall on your face. Then you just have to go home and go through your loot.
