St. Agnes Trunk or Treat

There were lots of great cars and costumes, but Janelle's potato on the spin-for-a-treat wheel was the talk of the school.

We got off to a late start carving pumpkins ... finishing up at 10pm the night before Halloween.

Halloween

The best part of Halloween ... no homework. It was a chilly and beautiful night. Both kids hung with Mr. Geoff, Bradley, and Doug in a 3-hour trick-or-treat marathon.

Somehow Julia managed to get into the St. Agnes newsletter for 3 straight weeks.

In week 4 Julia won 'Student of the Month' but only her name appeared in the newsletter, so the streak was broken.

Summer K has a trapeze party for her birthday. Julia was not afraid!

15th Anniversary

 We were a few days late from our actual anniversary, but Doug made up for it with some cool shoes.

Day off - Autobahn

Kids were off, Sara had to work, so Doug took the day off. 

While RJ was getting warts removed, Julia hung out with Amelia at Bill & Carol's house

After some tutoring and some lacrosse/soccer in front yard, we went to Autobahn with Bradley. The pictures were mostly blurry because I didn't set the shutter speed correctly.

The first race was rather slow because there were 10 people (including 2 kids who crashed a lot). The second race was down to 6 and they speeded it up a bit. Then the kids and Bradley got the track to themselves for the last race.

Half School - Half Zoo

After a half day in school (zoo 1), Sara took kids to the real zoo. Pandas just sat there, monkeys were fun, and the sea otters were the crowd favorite.

Sara took the kids apple picking at Homestead Farms. Doug was not there ... so we got a LOT of apples.
