Sara's Thrilling Birthay

Sara had a spectacular birthday. Here is how Doug described it in a letter to her friend Janelle ...

Dear Janelle,

Thanks for the helping save Sara’s birthday. Other than your flowers and Lego set this is how her day went …

• Kids fought
• Sara took kids to a play that featured our 6^th grade neighbor (this was quite good)
• We had pizza for dinner
• Sara ate a dairy-free, gluten-free cupcake
• Kids complained about not getting more dessert
• Sara opened all the gifts she bought herself
• Sara got non-exciting gifts from the family
• Kids complained about going to bed

Congrats ... you get the bucket-filler of the day award.

Hiking at Turkey Run

An excellent spring day required some outdoor time. So we decided to go to Turkey Run by car ... since we didn't have a bike for our cousin.

Doug dropped the gang off in DC to take in some museums and see the cherry blossoms. Despite the rainy conditions, there was still quite a crowd.

St Agnes Auction Night

The theme was the 70's. Here is are pre-event pictures.

Highlights of the night:

• Talking to us was good luck. The tuition winners were at our table and we had a long discussion about the Best Of auction prize with the eventual winners!
• Got to see Peter - donut guy at St. Luke
• Awesome PPT that nobody saw during dinner
