We started our North Dakota vacation at Grandma and Grandpa's Farm.
There were plenty of vehicles to drive. RJ learned that you have to be careful on a tractor. After some online research, we figured out how to put the 4-wheeler into reverse.
The kids got to see their cousins!
And we headed to the fields for some pictures. Sara cut her leg climbing up the log. I posted a silly photo - just in case we use a good one for our Christmas card.
Kids found a place where cattails were growing. Grandpa called them a "nuisance weed."
The train cars were back ... this time there were hopper cars that you could climb and walk from car-to-car like they do in the movies.
