Bummed we didn't get any pictures of this, but everyone held a lit candle and the first person to the finish line with a lit candle was the winner.

Morning Fun

In the morning I never know what I'm going to find when I go into RJ's room. One morning, he was trying to reach his pacifier that had fallen down on the floor. When I went to pick it up, all I saw were his fingers dangling down from the crib. I couldn't get to the camera quick enough so now I try to keep the camera on hand.
This morning he was mad because he was trying to suck his thumb, but couldn't figure out how to do that reaching around the crib or taking his hand out from around the crib. We never said he was smart...

Pickling Project

Sara prepares cucumbers (and grabs a snack).

RJ helps with pickling project (holding pre-pickled cucumber)

Doug prepares the pickling juice. On 95 degree day, cooking is done outside!

All must wait 24 hours before eating the results.
